When do customers get their charging offer?
On the day of vehicle hand over, customers will be provided with instructions for redeeming their choice of charging offer with our partners. The Type 2 charging cable will be included in the car.
Who is providing the Home Charger Package?
The home charging offer is provided by myenergi.
What is included in the standard installation?
The standard installation (single phase) is intended to cover the majority of houses in Australia. Apartments are not included in the standard package given the wide range of complexities, but you can contact myenergi to discuss any extra requirements. A full list of inclusions and exclusions can be found on the
terms and conditions page here.
How do customers clam the Home Charging offer?
The handover specialist will complete a request form on the day of handover, and the customer will be contacted by myenergi within 48 hours of hand over.
Who is providing the Public Charging subscription?
The public charging offer is provided by Evie Networks and is valid for 36 months from the date it is redeemed. It will be supplied as a code that you can redeem on their website. You will receive this at the same time as your vehicle handover is booked.
How do customers redeem the Public Charging offer?
A special code will be provided on the day of handover, and customers can redeem it at this page: https://evergise.com.au/polestar-offer
*How are tax savings calculated?
Tax savings will depend on a number of factors. Including your income, the vehicle, distance travelled and lease term. Using the calculator supplied by Vehicle Solutions Australia a Long Range Dual Motor costing $80,000, with a personal income of $95,000, doing 12000km PA leased over 5 years would save in excess of $10,000 PA in tax.
How have you calculated 17,500 km driving from $2000 of free charging?
This calculation is based on the following assumptions: Electricity costs $0.60 per kWh at most Evie chargers. A Polestar 2 has a published efficiency of 0.19 kWh/km. Therefore it costs $0.11 $ per km, thats 11 cents per km (0.6 x 0.19 = 0.11). To calculate how many km travel $2000 will achieve we divide $2000 by $0.11 to get the princely distance of 17,544km. Of course whether you can obtain exactly 17,544km is unlikely as this will depend on the real world driving style and terrain and would only be achieved under certain circumstances. Definitely not by driving at 200km/h across the Nulabour. A Big Lap of Australia depends on the route taken but is around 15,000km

Charging Offer applies to new model year 2023 Polestar 2 cars ordered between 01.06.2023 and 30.06.2023 (unless stock runs out earlier or offer is extended) and also applies to active orders of Polestar 2 which have yet to take delivery. The order must be placed within the stated promotion period and applies to the model year 2023 Polestar 2. You must accept the home charging or public charging supplier's terms & conditions as a condition of receiving the Charging Offer

Two motors! What!
Yes the Polestar 2 can be configured with two motors, powering the front and rear wheels. Why you may ask? Because you get double the power and O-100km/h in 4.7 seconds. Thats very, very fast.
Big or bigger battery!
The Standard range vehicle comes equipped with a 69kWh battery to enable 470km of driving range. If you want to launch into a massive roadtrip the 78kWh Long range model has a 78kWh battery that will give you a whopping 540km range (or 480km when combined with the dual motor variant).

The Performance pack bundles a set of specialised handling upgrades, carefully selected and tuned for the Polestar 2 Long Range Dual motor. Add Brembo brakes, fancy suspension, 20" alloys and special edition gold seat belts!

5 Star Safety
The Polestar 2 comes with an ANCAP 5 star safety rating (the best). It has 8 airbags fitted and has a whole bunch of built in electronic safety features including Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) with cyclist and pedestrian detection and steering assistance, Oncoming Lane Mitigation (steers the car back into its lane if you veer into the path of an oncoming vehicle), Run-Off Road Mitigation (steers the car back onto the road if it detects you’ll veer off of it), lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, driver attention monitoring, and a reversing camera with front and rear parking sensors. Rest assured driving a modern EV is a safe experience.
Service and Maintenance
One of the reasons you may decide to go with a Polestar is because they are backed with a full 5 years manufacturer's warranty with unlimited kms, and 8 year battery warranty. This should give peace of mind for hundreds of road trips! Like all EVs, the Polestar 2 is a mechanics dream. Fundamentally, there is a lot less things to go wrong. The engine is massively simpler than a petrol car, and there's no exhaust pipes, gearboxes, petrol tanks, timing belts, distributor caps etc etc to disturb your travels.
